Twenty years ago we were created to develop innovative ways to encourage greater use of public transit in order to reduce traffic congestion and improve air quality.  As part of our mission, we launched TransitChek in 1987, the first commuter benefits program in the nation, which has made commuting a more affordable option for hundreds of thousands of people. Since then, we've helped over 500,000 employees save more than $110 million in taxes, while employers have saved over $35 million in payroll taxes.

Beyond our leadership and innovations, we go the extra mile to encourage mass transit use, forming Partnerships with federal agencies, transportation organizations, and transit operators across the nation. Not only do we have in-depth knowledge of the laws and regulations governing commuter benefits-we helped create them.
